(Delaware) – A motorcyclist collided with a cyclist participating in the final leg of RAGBRAI on Saturday in Delaware County.
According to KCCI, the accident report from the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office states a 59-year-old man from Manchester was riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle on 150th Street, just north of Manchester, shortly after 9:30 a.m. As he accelerated up a hill, he came across a group of RAGBRAI riders filling the roadway. According to the sheriff’s office, the motorcyclist veered into the opposite lane, and witnesses claimed he was shouting at the cyclists before striking a RAGBRAI rider from behind. The cyclist involved, a 37-year-old woman from Irving, Texas, suffered minor injuries. The sheriff’s office further noted that the motorcyclist claimed he was confronted by another cyclist after the incident and was pushed.
