(Glenwood) Two people were treated for injuries in a single-vehicle accident on Interstate 29 in Mills County.
The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened on Saturday on northbound Interstate 29, near the 32-mile marker. Authorities say 28-year-old Stephanie Pillow of Harrisburg, Arkansas, and 27-year-old Kristina Jansky, from Independence, Arkansas, were hurt in the crash.
The report says a 2005 Nissan driven by Pillow entered the ditch, overcorrected, re-entered the roadway, went into the median, and came to rest in the inside lane of southbound Interstate 29, resting on the passenger side.
EMS ground ambulance transported Pillow and Jansky to UNMC. The three other juvenile occupants in the Nissan were not hurt.
