(Atlantic) A Community for Kids is excited to launch the Adventure Pass program in partnership with the Atlantic Public Library and local businesses! This new initiative offers families free admission to local attractions, provided they have a valid library card.
Chelsea Rush is the founder of a community for kids. This website lists activities and locations by date for children and families.
Rush says the Adventure Passes work just like checking out a book, but instead of reading a story, your family gets to create unforgettable memories together. Any adult with a valid library card in good standing can check out passes that grant free access to participating local destinations.
This program is made possible through the generous support of:
- The Nishna Valley YMCA
- Shift ATL for The Range
- The City of Atlantic for Sunnyside Pool
- The Moviehouse & Event Center
These local partners have donated passes to help families explore and enjoy all that Atlantic has to offer. It’s a win-win: families discover new experiences, and businesses have the chance to welcome new guests.
Rush says:
- Passes are available on a first-come, first-served basis at the Atlantic Public Library.
- To check out a pass, you need a valid library card and a person aged 18 or older.
- Each pass is valid for seven days from the date of checkout
For more information, visit the Atlantic Public Library’s Summer Kick-off event on Monday, June 2, where the Adventure Passes will be available for their first checkout.
