(Red Oak, IA) — Atlantic Boys tennis competed on Wednesday in the Singles and Doubles Districts. Kinnick Juhl and Conner Johnson had a respectable 3rd place finish in the doubles bracket — the top two doubles teams would qualify for the state tournament.
Juhl and Johnson beat a team from St. Albert 6-0, 6-0 in the first round. They advanced to the semifinals with a 6-4, 7-5 win over Red Oak. Their run ended in the semis falling to Teegan Brunk and Lucas Sun of Shenandoah 7-5, 6-4. Juhl and Johnson followed it up with a 3rd place match win 8-2.
