(Carroll, IA) — At the Carroll National Golf Club, Lewis Central would beat Kuemper Catholic by one stroke in the Hawkeye Ten Conference girls tournament. The Titans shot a team score of +84 ahead of the host school Kuemper Catholic at +85. Red Oak and Shenandoah tied for third with a score +92 while Clarinda rounded out the top five at +114.
Atlantic finished in 8th place at +163 — low round for the Trojans was Makenna Schroeder in 21st place with a 90. Emma Rose was tied for 22nd with a 103. Rylee Bengel was 40th place with a 113. Neveah Fewson shot a 125 and Nissa Molgaard a 141.
Harlan finished in 9th place at +184 and was led by Macy Mueller who finished in 5th place with an 85. Mueller only had two double bogeys, 10 bogeys and 6 pars. Other scores for the Cyclones: Tobina Bachman 122, Sienna Michels 124, Charlotte Heistad 133, and Caitlyn Ryan 143.
Individual champion went to Chloe Perfect of LC with a 5 over 75 on the par 70 course. Brynn Knaus of Red Oak finished in 2nd place, 7 strokes back with an 82. Taylor Rasmussen of Clarinda and Addy Beiter of Kuemper tied for third with an 83. Mueller was next with her 85. Adella Lydon of Red Oak was in 6th with an 88. Giada Lujano of Kuemper and Ella Narmi of St. Albert tied for 7th with an 89. Three players tied for 9th shooting an even 90 — Elsa Tiefenhaler, Kuemper; Sarah Pickens, Shenandoah; and Rachel Jones, Shenandoah.
