(Van Meter, IA) — On Thursday night, CAM’s Ada Hansen continued her terrific sophomore season in track and field — she set a season PR in the 100 Hurdles at 15.61 with a first place finish. Hansen finished 2nd to teammate Ruthie Rich in the 100 and got a season PR of 13.05. Hansen was also the winner in the 400 Hurdles with a time of 1:04.67. Rich held off her teammate in the 100 and broke the 13 second barrier for a PR of 12.95. Also for CAM, Courtney Follmann was 2nd in the discus.
For the CAM boys, the Sprint Medley relay finished 2nd but got a season PR of 1:40.02 with Kegan Croghan, Kayden Wintehr, Cohen McCann and Collin Bower. Carson McKee was 2nd in the 400 Hurdles and Winther was third in the Long Jump.
Underwood boys also competed at Van Meter and Tayden Hull won the 400 Hurdles (56.80); Sam Hulsing won the 110 Hurdles (15.21) with teammate Lucas Bose 2nd (15.41). Hulsing, Bose, Hull and Quentin Hultquist teamed up in the Shuttle Hurdle relay and won with a season PR of 1:01.14. David Foote was 2nd in the discus with a season PR of 141-09. Other second place finishes went to Ryker Adair in the Shot Put and Jack Limpp in the 400.
