(Iowa) — There will be events across the state this spring and summer bringing awareness to scams affecting Iowans.
Iowa Insurance Commissioner Doug Ommen says the tour will include 22 different communities across the state.
The events will focus on teaching Iowans about what scams are common in the state and how to avoid them. It’s all part of a partnership among the Iowa Department of Insurance and Financial Services, the Iowa Attorney General’s Office, and AARP Iowa.
