Update: Road Closure on West 22nd Street Moved to Monday Through Wednesday

(Atlantic) Dave Sturm with Snyder & Associates has announced a change to the construction schedule for West 22nd Street in Atlantic.

Sturm said the planned road closure on Friday, July 10, for pavement grinding between Palm Street and Southwest 7th Street has been postponed.

According to a notice from the contractor, the delay is due to difficulties securing a ready-mix truck needed by CSI for slurry containment during the grinding operation. As a result, the contractor was unable to complete the work as originally scheduled.

The road will remain open on Friday. Instead, West 22nd Street will be closed for pavement grinding Monday through Wednesday of next week.
