(Atlantic) The Atlantic Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors held a ribbon cutting Thursday morning for Vision Atlantic’s new tiny homes in the Camblin Hills Development.
Christina Bateman, with Vision Atlantic, said the 10 tiny homes will be available as short-term rentals through Airbnb.
Jessie Shiels, with Vision Atlantic, said the development will be marketed as The Homestead at Prairie Hills. Each tiny home has its own name and will feature a theme inspired by a different city.
The development includes a mix of one- and two-bedroom tiny homes. The first guests are scheduled to stay tonight (Thursday).
Until the homes are officially listed on Airbnb, anyone interested in renting a tiny home can email visionatlanticrentals@gmail.com for more information.
Vision Atlantic also recognized several partners who helped make the project possible. First Whitney Bank and Rolling Hills Bank provided financing for the development, Brymons furnished the homes, Atlantic Municipal Utilities completed the electrical installation, and NishnaNet provided internet service. Matt Leighton and Eric Steinhoff served as the contractors for the project, while Logan Weirich of Weirich Welding donated the custom name signs for each tiny home.
