David Lindvall, 71, of Audubon
David Albert Lindvall, the son of James Richard and Lois Jean (Adams) Lindvall, was born on January 6, 1954, in Creston, IA. He passed away on April 6, 2025, at Atlantic Specialty Care in Atlantic, IA, at the age of 71 years.
David attended school in Griswold, graduating in 1972. He worked in construction, building steel buildings, and later for D & L in Red Oak, IA. He eventually moved to Audubon, IA, where he worked for Audubon Furniture Mart fixing furniture. David was an avid sports fan, especially enjoying drag racing and supporting the Iowa Hawkeyes and Caitlin Clark.
He is survived by his daughter Carissa Lindvall of Atlantic, IA; grandchildren McKinley and Kobe; mother Lois Lindvall Dean of Exira, IA; brother Mike Lindvall of Omaha, NE; step-nephews Don Graunke and wife Heather, Erik Graunke; and step-niece Kari Green and husband Clarence. He was preceded in death by his father James and brother Scott.
A prayer service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at the Rieken Duhn Funeral Home in Griswold. This will be followed by visitation with the family until 5:00 PM. Rieken Duhn Funeral Home in Griswold is assisting the family.
