(Atlantic) Atlantic Head boys’ basketball coach Dalton Franken points to point guard Nick Ballenger and freshman post player Colt Spencer as key players to identify when Atlantic hosts St. Albert in a Hawkeye Ten Conference Boys’ Basketball game tonight. The Trojans are (2-12), and St. Albert is (11-7).
Coach Franken says St. Albert will use a variety of defenses. They will play half-court man-to-man, half-court 1-2-2 zone, and some 2–3 zone defenses.
Franken, the focus of the Trojans tonight is to battle for all 32 minutes.
Nick Ballenger leads the Falcons in scoring with an average of 13.89 points per game, and post-player Colt Spencer averages 9.78 points per outing.
For Atlantic, Gavin McLaren leads the squad in scoring, averaging 13.08 points per game, and Kinnick Juhl enters tonight’s contest with a season average of 10.40 points per game.
