(Tabor, IA) — Clarinda wins the Eitzmann Invitational hosted by Fremont Mills. Audubon finished in 2nd place behind the Cardinals with three champions. Macy Rasmussen remains unbeaten at 31-0 winning at 115 by going 3-0 with 3 falls. Jordan Mulford won at 105 going 3-0 with 3 falls. Laura McCarville won at 120 going 2-0 with a tech fall and a fall in 27 seconds in the finals.
For ATU (AHSTW, Tri Center and Underwood), Claire Mertz wins at 130 going 2-0, winning 5-4 in the finals over Lillian Castro of Southwest Valley.
Harlan had just four wrestlers on the mat but Elle Stephens won at 125 pounds, going 2-0 with 2 falls. Hallie Lopez was 3rd at 170, Krysten Madden was 3rd at 135 and Annaleigh Sheehan was 4th at 105.
For Southwest Valley, Peyton Briggs won at 100 pounds, winning in the first round 19-12 in sudden death and then taking the next two rounds by fall. Kenzie Maeder was 2nd at 145, Kacy LeMasters 3rd at 125 and Deklyn Mullen 3rd at 115.
