(Atlantic) The Cass County Board of Supervisors approved an application for a zoning change by Farmer’s Electric Cooperative in Lincoln Township from a general agricultural district to a light industrial, as approved by the Zoning Commission on September 5.
Before the approval, the supervisors conducted a public hearing considering the Cooperative’s request to build a new substation on three acres of land they purchased, plus the setbacks in Lincoln Township. The zoning is strictly for the three acres and nothing else around it.
