A Celebration of Life Memorial service for 99-year-old Phyllis Mewhirter of Atlantic will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 5th at the First United Methodist Church in Atlantic. Immediately following the service, the family invites you to join them for visitation and lunch in the fellowship hall. A private family inurnment will be held in the Atlantic Cemetery. Phyllis Mewhirter, 99, of Atlantic, Iowa, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2024, at Heritage House in Atlantic. Phyllis is survived by her sons, Roger (Corinne) Mewhirter of Las Vegas, NV, Richard (Judy) Mewhirter of Dallas, TX, and Brian (Joan) Mewhirter of Atlantic, IA; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
