(Griswold) Griswold Head Football Coach Seth Lempke may move some players around heading into week two when the team plays at home against CAM. Lempke admitted they learned much about the team in last week’s loss to Boyer Valley.
Coach Lempke says his football team’s strength is speed and athleticism. He says they did not take advantage of that as much as they should have last week. He adds that one key will be getting the carriers into the open field.
In his third year as a starter, Griswold Quarterback Bode Wyman went 7-18 passing for 51 yards last week in the 49-0 loss to Boyer Valley.
The Tigers host CAM in a week two 8-player District #10 contest. Coach Lempke says his team must match CAM physicality, play disciplined, match everything CAM does, and pop back up if they get knocked down, Lempke says CAM is flashy, and take advantage of they do well can stay in the game.
The kick-off is slated for 7:00 p.m. at Griswold on Friday.
