Becky Juhler, 70 of Atlantic, Iowa, died Friday, July 26, 2024, at Atlantic Specialty Care.
Becky Lee was born on July 13, 1954, in Atlantic, Iowa, the daughter of Hubert and Erma Marie (Christensen) Brown. The family lived on a farm southeast of Wiota for a short time after she was born and then moved into town. She grew up with her sister Betty, was active in 4-H, and graduated from Anita High School in the Class of 1972. Following graduation, she attended Beauty School in Des Moines, and through the years was a beautician at various shops.
Some of Becky’s favorite things were country music, horses, and watching country music and law and order shows on TV. In 2013, she moved to Atlantic Specialty Care and took every opportunity she could to be around people, Wine and Cheese and any gatherings outside were what she looked forward to most.
Becky is survived by her sister, Betty Lillard of Atlantic; nephews, Jeff Lillard of Wiota and Mike Lillard of Council Bluffs; niece, Jodie Lillard of Council Bluffs; and many great-nieces and nephews and extended family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Erma Brown; brother-in-law, Ernie Lillard; nephew, Rick Lillard; niece Lori Lillard; great-nieces, Carley Jo Lillard and Shawna Gail Lillard; and great-nephew, Lucas Lillard.
A Celebration of Life Memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, August 17, 2024, at the United Methodist Church in Wiota. Immediately following the service, you are invited to join the family for lunch in the fellowship hall. Burial will follow the luncheon at approximately 1:30 p.m. in the Evergreen Cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to the family for designation at a later date.
