(Ames, IA) – Iowa State men’s basketball has added two transfers this week to develop themselves further as a Championship winning team. Both Nate Heise (UNI) and Dishon Jackson (Charlotte) have announced that they are committing to play at Iowa State for the 2024-25 season.
Nate Heise formally played at Northern Iowa (UNI) for a total of four seasons before announcing that he was transferring to Iowa State. The Minnesota native looks to find a new home just a few hours in Ames for his last year of eligibility.
The Cyclones also received a commitment from Dishon Jackson who formally played at Charlotte for one season and Washington State for three seasons. Jackson played in every game and averaged 11.4 points, 6.1 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and a block per game this season. He led Charlotte in field goal percentage at 54% and was the third-leading scorer for Charlotte.
Iowa State will have four new faces this next season as they recruited Macari Moore and Xzavion Mitchell to their 2025 recruiting class.
