(Atlantic) The Atlantic Trojans wrestling season starts tomorrow evening with a home dual against Earlham. The match will be live video-streamed on westerniowatoday.com (KS957). Atlantic returns three state qualifiers from last season: state runner-up Aiden Smith, Evan Sorensen, and Braxton Hass. Those three interviews are posted below.
Aiden Smith finished as a state runner-up one year ago, and is looking to climb one rung higher on the medal stand at the State Wrestling Tournament this season.
Braxton Hass, a state qualifier one year ago, put himself through many off-season competitions and looks to improve this season.
Austin West sat down with Evan Sorensen during media day. Sorensen said his main objective is to wrestle more aggressively this season.
The dual with Earlham starts at 6:00 p.m. with the J.V. matches, with the varsity to follow. Pre-match coverage starts around 6:20.
