(Red Oak) The Montgomery County Sheriff’sOffice arrested the driver of a vehicle after backing into a concrete barrier at a gas station.
A deputy observed a 2011 Chevrolet Traverse backing into the barrier, pulled in to check on the occupant’s welfare, and witnessed the driver pull forward and backward several times before stopping.
Deputies contacted the driver, identified as Orienis Matos-Asaharez, and observed open containers of alcohol in the vehicle. Asaharez admitted to consuming alcohol, and following their investigation, Asaharez was taken to the Montgomery County Jail on a charge of OWI 1st offense.
Authorities held him on a $1,000 bond.
