Update: November 10 at 9:15 a.m.-
(Council Bluffs) The Council Bluffs Police Department says 25-year-old Dominic M. Henton, of Papillion, Nebraska, was taken into custody by the Omaha Police Department this morning.
Henton is accused of assaulting former Arizona Senator Martha McSally near the Bob Kerry Pedestrian Bridge in Council Bluffs.
At approximately 3:23 a.m., Omaha officers came in contact with Henton near the 1300 Block of Cuming Street at which time they found that he had a valid warrant through Pottawattamie County. He was arrested and then transported to Douglas County Corrections awaiting extradition back to Council Bluffs.

(Council Bluffs) Council Bluffs Police have identified a suspect in the alleged assault of Senator Martha McSally.
Police conducted an arrest warrant on Thursday evening for 25-year-old Dominic M. Henton of Papillion, Nebraska, charging him with Assault with Intent to Commit Sexual Abuse in the alleged attack on Wednesday in Council Bluffs.
Authorities say Henton followed Senator McSally eastbound over the Bob Kerry Pedestrian Bridge and then southbound on the trail. McSally can be seen walking in front of Henton in the photos. The third photo depicts Henton in the area before the assault. The fourth photo shows Henton in the area after the assault.
Henton is a white male believed to be a transient at this time and may frequent the area of the Riverfront on both the Iowa and Nebraska sides. He is described as a white male, 5’8, 140 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes.
The Council Bluffs Police Department asks for the public’s help locating Henton. Please do not approach him; instead, contact 9-1-1 if his whereabouts are known.
