Montgomery County Crash Leads to an Arrest

(Red Oak) A Montgomery County man faces charges following a single-vehicle crash.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office says the accident happened on Saturday on Highway 34 near the 47-mile marker. Authorities say 68-year-old Wendell Keith Gourley of Stanton lost control of his vehicle, went off the shoulder, and struck a cable barrier. Montgomery County Deputies arrested Gourley for OWI, 1st offense. No one was injured in the crash.
