(Washington D.C.) An Iowa Congresswoman says she has a list of questions for the potential candidates for House Speaker.
“I have been asking the ones I have been able to get on the phone so far what is the plan for government spending,” said Second District Congresswoman Ashley Hinson. “I am an appropriations member and want to ensure that process moves forward.”
She says there’s still some question about whether the Speaker Pro Tem could act temporarily. The House GOP will vote for their nominee today at 8 a.m. Central.
