Joseph Paul Kuchcinski, of Omaha, Nebraska, the son of Raymond Frank and Josephine (Macias) Kuchcinski, born February 14, 1974, in Omaha, Nebraska. He died on October 8, 2023, at the Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames, Iowa, at the age of 49 years, 7 months, and 24 days.
Joe attended St. Stanislaus Catholic Grade School and graduated with the class of 1993 from Omaha South High School. He played football in High School. He worked as a delivery driver, locally and nationally. Joe enjoyed attending many sporting events, especially those of his nephews, nieces, and other family members. He enjoyed going fishing and going on family trips with Ernie. He liked to go to concerts as well, but most of all spending time with family and friends.
Joe is preceded in death by his grandparents, Sigmund and Calantha Kuchcinski and Paul and Mary Macias Sr.; his aunts and uncles: Ralph Kuchcinski, Lucy Simonsen, Lorraine Waydick, Paul Macias Jr., Ernie Macias Sr., Consuelo Dysart, and Rita Hall.
Joe is survived by his parents Ray and Josie Kuchcinski; his sisters: Rachel (Mike) Podjenski and Rita (Dean) Schechinger; his nieces and nephews: Ryan, Jared, Lydia, Teegan, Veronica, Paden, and Iviana; and many special cousins and friends.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at 10:30 AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Visitation will be Monday, October 23, 2023, from 4:30 PM until 7:00 PM, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Council Bluffs, Iowa. A Rosary will be held at the church on Monday at 7:00 PM. A time of sharing will be at 6:30 PM.
