(Des Moines, IA) — Iowa is about to open applications for electric charging stations on interstates across the state.
That’s Iowa Department of Transportation Director Stu Anderson. Applications will be posted in November and applicants will have several months to prepare their proposals. Iowa is getting 50-million dollars over the next five years from the federal government for its plan to put electric charging stations every 50 miles along the interstates.
