(Cass Co) A North Carolina man was transported to the hospital following a semi rollover accident in Cass County.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office says first responders were called to the 66-mile marker of Interstate 80 eastbound on Saturday. Upon arrival, responders found that a 2010 Volvo semi tractor and trailer being operated by William Hair, of Winston Salem, North Carolina, was traveling east on I-80 when the semi slid into the south ditch and eventually rolled onto its side.
Hair sustained minor injuries during this accident but had a cardiac event soon after, requiring emergency medical attention. Life-flight was requested and Hair was transported to a regional hospital for emergent care.
