(Iowa) — The Iowa Department of Natural Resources says most of the state will enter peak fall color season soon. Most of northern Iowa will see peak fall colors through the second week of October. Most of west central, central, and east central Iowa can expect to see peak fall colors from the first through the third week of October. Colors will be most vibrant in southern Iowa during the second through fourth weeks in October.
