(Atlantic) The Atlantic Area Chamber Ambassadors were hosted by Brown Shoe Fit Co. on Thursday, September 28th. The Ambassadors were on hand to help welcome Austin Renfro as the new manager.
Austin grew up in Burlington, Iowa where he started with Brown’s Shoe Fit in high school. Austin has worked his way through the Brown’s Apprenticeship Program which took him to Stillwater, Oklahoma, and now Atlantic. Austin moved here with his wife of one month, Lily, who will be working as a para educator as she works her way through her elementary educator program.
When asked what he enjoys about the shoe business, Austin shared that he loves to meet new people and help customers get exactly what they came in to buy. Austin shared that Brown’s Shoe Fit is more than just a shoe store, offering clothing, jewelry, sunglasses, dry-cleaning pick-up, tuxedo rentals, shoe inserts and more.
