(Atlantic) The Atlantic School Administration, Staff, Students, and Community members will be wearing blue at Thursday’s home volleyball match and home football game on Friday in support of AHSTW sophomore Grace Pauley, who was seriously injured in a single-vehicle accident in Avoca on September 19.
Atlantic Coach and Staff member Dan Vargason says the “Blue Out” (Grace Pauley’s favorite color) is a collective effort amongst the Atlantic community and Atlantic School Administration and Staff.
Dan Vargason says the “Blue Out” continues Friday night at the home football game with Creston.
Other area athletes and individuals have been showing their support by wearing blue and displaying blue ribbons.
The IKM Manning School is hosting a Blue Out on Thursday during their home volleyball game against AHSTW. They will also pass a bucket to collect donations for Grace’s family.
The Underwood School held a fundraiser and on Tuesday their volleyball team presented the AHSTW volleyball team with over $1,300 in funds for Grace’s family.
