(Des Moines) Des Moines Police are investigating after finding a human skull over the weekend. Sgt. Paul Parizek said officers were called to a wooded area near SE 36th Street and Vandalia Road for possible human remains. After searching through the brush, a human skull was verified. It is the second skull found this year, with the last found in Yellow Banks Park earlier this summer.
