(Polk County, IA) A Polk County jury has convicted a 23-year-old Des Moines man of First Degree Murder. Salifou Sahr was also found guilty of First-Degree Robbery and Assault Causing Serious Injury. Twenty-four-year-old Trishay Thompson was shot on January 9 last year and died two weeks later. Investigators say the shooting was drug-related.
