(Red Oak) The driver escaped injury when her vehicle struck a bull that had entered the roadway in Montgomery County.
The Sheriff’s Office says the accident happened at 9:00 p.m. on Sunday in the 2200 block of Highway 48. A 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by 27-year-old Leanne Johnson of Shenandoah struck the bull owned by Bret Hultman of Red Oak.
Johnson’s Jeep sustained $25,000 in damage and $1,500 to the bull.
Authorities released no citations at this time.
Red Oak Fire and Rescue and the Red Oak Police Department assisted.
