Starts Right Here Suspect Found Guilty 0f Second-Degree Murder

(Des Moines, IA)  After two days of deliberation, the jury in the first Starts Right Here School shooting trial finds 19-year-old Preston Walls guilty of voluntary manslaughter and assault causing serious injury. The January shooting killed two classmates and injured school founder Will Keeps.  Walls is found not guilty of attempted murder and gang participation. He’ll be sentenced in November.
