(Des Moines, IA) Police are investigating a shooting after a man went to a hospital with a gunshot injury yesterday morning. Des Moines Police say they were called to the 600 block of University Ave around 5 a.m. for a report of gunfire heard in the area. As they were searching around, the male was admitted to Mercy One with a minor wound. Police are still looking for suspects.
