(Atlantic) The Atlantic Football is wrapping up its second week of practice. The players and coaches met with the media on Monday afternoon.
Senior Wide Receiver, and all-district player from a year ago, Colton Rasmussen, says he is looking forward to the season. Rasmussen caught 38 passes for 762 yards, 12 touchdowns, and averaged 20 yards per reception.
Atlantic senior Running back Dante Hedrington returns after leading the Trojan’s rushing attack with 606 yards, on 131 carries and four touchdowns, despite missing several games because of injury.
Atlantic scrimmages Carroll on Friday at 6:00 p.m. at Trojan Bowl and opens the season at Clarke of Osceola on August 25.
