(Massena) An Atlantic man suffered serious injuries in an ATV accident in Massena.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office says the accident happened at 10:19 p.m. on Saturday at 750th and Clark Avenue in Massena. Authorities identified the injured driver as Aaron Latus of Atlantic.
Local first responders were called to the area on a report of a conscious and breathing man lying in the middle of the roadway. Authorities say Latus was operating an ATV, which they believe flipped, ejecting Latus.
Life Net airlifted Latus from the Cass County Memorial Hospital to a trauma center for treatment of his injuries.
The accident remains under investigation.
