(Des Moines) There are no special favors for presidential candidates at the Iowa State Fair — they have to pay admission too.
“Political candidates are like other fairgoers,” said Iowa State Fair Manager Jeremy Parsons. “Everyone is welcome at the Iowa State Fair but must do it on our terms.”
Parsons says U-S Secret Service agents get in free — as they’re considered part of the police force.
