(Atlantic) Ginger Nelson is having a daycare kids’ bake sale on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at 409 E. 21st Street. Ali Pieken of the Splash Pad Executive Committee says all the proceeds benefit the Splash Pad project. Pieken says they have two matches-one from an anonymous donor for $500.00 and the other from Armour Insurance for $1,000.00.
Additionally, Elite Octane presented a check for $25,000 to the Splash Pad committee on Tuesday. According to Ali Pieken, Ethanol Plant Officials said they are proud to be a part of the Atlantic Community and are grateful for the ability to reinvest in the community in more ways than one. The donation is another way to thank the people supporting their vision in 2016.
