Audubon School District Releases School Start Dates

(Audubon) The Audubon School District released the start dates for the 2023-2024 school year. Last month, Schools Superintendent Eric Trager was confident the $7.5 million school building project would be on budget; the question was the timing of the completion. On Monday, School Officials released the following start dates.

*Kindergarten through 4^th grade-August 28
*Pre-Kindergarten-August 31
*5^th – 12^th -September 5

Trager says there has been a labor shortage all summer, but the people working on the project have done well.

In the spring of 2020, Audubon School District Patrons passed the bond issue to remodel, repair, and improve the Middle School and High School Buildings. The construction project began in 2022.
