(Creston) Creston Police arrested two people in separate incidents for theft and alcohol-related charges.
Police arrested 31-year-old Dalton James Cormeny, of Fontanelle, on Friday, at the Creston Union County LEC. Cormeny was charged on a Union County Warrant for Theft 1st Degree, Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree, and Burglary 3rd Degree. Cormeny was taken to the Union County Jail, where he was later released on a $20,000 cash or surety bond.
Police arrested 61-year-old James Leo Pettit of Afton at the Highway 34 and Iris intersection for OWI 1st offense. Officers transported Pettit to the Union County Jail and later released him on a $1,000 bond.
