(Red Oak) The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office cited 19-year-old Carston Johnson of Stanton for reckless driving for traveling 108 mph in a 55 mph zone on Friday evening. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on the Ford F350 pickup driven by Johnson on Highway 48 near Kirkwood Avenue. Deputies transported Johnson for the simple misdemeanor to the Montgomery County Jail. Authorities released Johnson on a $300 cash bond.
