(Des Moines) A bill loosening teaching regulations in Iowa’s schools is on the desk of Governor Kim Reynolds. The proposal removes the school’s need to report a comprehensive improvement plan to the state. School librarians don’t need to be certified if the person used to be public librarians. The bill says schools can’t have more than five days of virtual instruction in a year.
