(Atlantic) The Atlantic Police Department says a pedestrian sustained minor injuries in an accident at Highway 6, and Mulberry Street in Atlantic on Saturday.
According to the press release, the accident happened at 5:13 p.m. Police say Jennifer Vinci ran across the intersection and was struck by a westbound 2015 Chevy Equinox driven by Misty Rhodes of Atlantic. Vinci was transported to Cass Health for treatment of minor injuries.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office, Atlantic Fire Department, and Cass EMS assisted the Atlantic Police Department at the scene.
