(Atlantic) Anyone interested in getting involved with the Sunnyside Park Party is encouraged to attend the next planning meeting on March 9th at the First Church of Christ in Atlantic.
The event was formerly known as the Sunnyside Block Party. Atlantic Assistant Parks and Recreation Director Jeff Christensen said the area churches and the YMCA attended the last planning meeting and they have plans to make it bigger and better.
They also plan to have a dunk tank, the YMCA will have their inflatables, there will be games, prizes and lots more.
The original plans were to have the park party on June 17th, but that date may change as it could interfere with a disc golf tournament going on that day.
