(Creston) Former CAM Standout Molly Venteicher, now competing for Southwestern Community College in Creston, is off to a great start in the Indoor Track and Field season. In her first season competition, Venteicher broke two school records in the shot put and the weight throw and qualified for the National Junior College Championships in March.
Venteicher toss of 15.53 meters in the weight throw currently ranks first in the National Junior College Athletic Association.
Venteicher changed her technique, which influenced her nation’s leading throw.
Venteicher is picking up where she left off last spring at Southwestern Community College. She qualified for the Nationals in the Shot-Put during the outdoor season last spring.
