(Atlantic) An Atlantic man charged with Attempted Murder and Willful Injury Causing Serious Injury entered a plea of guilty on Friday to the charge of Willful Injury Causing Serious Injury.
Richard Doss, 34, was originally set to go to trial on March 22nd.

Strazdas said Doss was sentenced today (Monday).
On Sunday, December 5th, at approximately 11:51 p.m., the Cass County Memorial Hospital notified the Atlantic Police Department of a male stabbing victim arriving at the emergency room. Police say the incident occurred at apartment 26B of the Walnut Hills Terrace Apartments in Atlantic. The victim was flown to UNMC in Omaha with serious injuries. Doss was arrested the following day.
