(Red Oak) Red Oak Police arrested three people on drug-possession charges on Monday.
Red Oak Police Officers conducted a search warrant at 1804 E. Summit Street, Unit #28 at the Woodland Park Apartments. The search led to the arrests of 23-year old Colby John Nicholas Rasmussen of Red Oak and 26-year old Jeffrey Steven Whitt, of Villisca.
Rasmussen faces charges of possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana (35.69 grams), unlawful possession of prescription drugs, and a drug tax stamp violation. Police arrested Whitt for gathering where marijuana is used. Police transported both men to the Montgomery County Jail and held Whitt on a $1,000 bond. Rasmussen is held on no bond.
Red Oak Police also arrested 24-year old Jacob Lee Reafleng of Red Oak in the 100 block of Oak Street on a Mills County warrant for possession of a controlled substance marijuana, 1st offense. Officers transported him to Mills County on a $2,500 bond.
