(Cass Co.) The Cass County Board of Supervisors approved plans for a paving project on Victoria Road (G61) with Adair County.
Cass County Engineer Trent Wolken said last year they did a grading project with Adair County on Victoria Road and Adair County is getting ready to let the paving portion of that.
Adair County is responsible for developing the plans, which they have already done, and for administering the project. Cass County will reimburse Adair County for the time and cost of the materials for the portion in Cass County. Cass County’s share of the cost is about $210,000.
Meanwhile, Wolken said the bridge project on 700th Street is coming along pretty well with the weather. He said all of the piling is driven and the next step is putting the beams on.
In other news, the Board of Supervisors set February 28th as the public hearing date for the “total maximum property tax dollars” resolution.
