(Mills Co.) A Red Oak woman was transported to the hospital following a two-vehicle accident in Mills County on Friday.
The Mills County Sheriff’s Office says Mathew Brotherton, 44, of Hastings, was driving a 2009 Peterbilt eastbound on Highway 34 and was slowing down to turn northbound onto 370th. Emily Rhoner, 47, of Red Oak, was driving a 2005 Kia eastbound on Highway 34 and failed to slow down and rear-ended the Peterbilt.
Rhoner was transported to UNMC by Silver City Rescue.
