(Council Bluffs) A hit-and-run accident in Council Bluffs leaves a pedestrian with serious head injuries.
Police say the accident happened at 2:09 a.m. at North 7th Street and West Washington Avenue about a car versus pedestrian accident. The identification of the driver of the vehicle is unknown. When officers arrived at the scene, the victim, whose name was not released, was lying in the middle of the intersection. Authorities say the victim suffering from a severe head injury was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
