(Pottawattamie Co.) A Nebraska man was injured in a single-vehicle rollover accident in Pottawattamie County this (Thursday) morning.
The Iowa State Patrol says 66-year-old Russel Gillaspie, of Bellevue, was driving a 2008 Jeep Liberty eastbound on I-880 and exited at Exit 8. Gillaspie failed to maintain control through the curve and entered the ditch. The Jeep rolled multiple times.
Gillaspie was extricated by Neola Fire by mechanical means. He was transported to UNMC via ambulance.
